This 1982 map of the Dunbarton town area and the associated enlarged closeup overlay of the Jameson Homestead area shows the location with the listing for a J. P. Jameson. That would be Jeremiah Paige Jameson, great grandson of Hugh Jameson and the owner and proprietor of the land at the time the map was made. Jeremiah Paige Jameson was also the last Jameson to own and live on the land.

GENESEE FALLS (twp) - was formed from Pike and Portage, (Livingston co.,) April 1, 1846. It lies on Genesee River, in the S.E. corner of the co. A nearly perpendicular rocky bluff, 100 to 300 ft. high, borders upon the river, and from its summit the country spreads out into an undulating upland. The celibrated Portaage Falls, in the Genesee River, are opposite this place. The soil is a sandy and clayey loam. Portageville (p.v.) on Genesee River, contains 5 churches and several mills. Pop. 561, The B. & N. Y. City R. T. crosses the Genessee, near the village.
